TAP for Schools

Talent Acceleration Program (TAP) offers students access to the latest ICT knowledge, skills, and certifications. TAP is designed to help students excel in today’s digital economy and prepare them for leadership roles in the future.

The program includes training from top certification vendors, including:

  • Fortinet Security
  • Microsoft Azure
Target Audience

Who Can Join TAP?

The Talent Acceleration Program (TAP) is suitable for all high school learners in grades 10, 11, and 12. Think Tank aims to provide every learner with the opportunity to participate in TAP. However, due to program demands, only learners who meet our qualifying criteria will be on-boarded.

Minimun Requirements
  • Must have access to a reliable laptop – rental option available at Think Tank at a cost.
  • Must have access to reliable internet connectivity
  • Must have ear-pods / earphones / headphones (this is optional but recommended).
  • Must complete the Talent Acceleration Program registration form.
  • Pay program registration fee – R750 (includes VAT).
Qualifying Criteria
  • Must have valid identification (birth certificate, SA ID, or passport).
  • Must be in Grade 9 or above during the year of registration or enrolled in Grade 10 when starting the program.
  • Must maintain at least a 50% average in English and Mathematics.
  • Must have a keen interest in developing professional tech skills.

- If you meet our program minimum requirements, definitely we will be happy to have you in the program.

- Think Tank can provide a rental laptop and or internet data at an extra cost. You may expect to pay between R500 and R750 for rental laptop and a minimum of R450 for at R200GB or more. If these costs are not within your budget, we encourage you to explore other viable options, it is however critically important to have a laptop and internet access in order to participate in the program.

- The TAP Schools program is a virtual instructor led training (vILT) program. You will receive full training, support and step-by-stem guidance from a highly experienced virtual instructor. You will also receive mentorship and coaching from industry experts helping you make success of your learning journey.
